I have always been a lover of Anna Maria Horner's fabrics and this range is no exception.

I can't wait to use it! A few of the prints are going in my next Block of the Month which will be revealed at Melbourne's Craft and Quilt fair next week.

Lucy is busy cutting pre-cut 30cm pieces of this entire range for the show. Yes, my Lu Lu is cutting Lou Lou! These fabrics are available now in store and will be online in the next week so for all our interstate customers keep an eye on there... and at $16.50 per metre, who can say no?!

Laura has made this crazy patch quilt for her son including all of his favourite things.



And this incredibly precise number from my good friend Amanda. Love the cross hatched fabric she's used as the sashing!

I love when people come into the shop and show me their projects.
The lovely Mary, who is doing my block of the month The Circle Game, came in to pick some backing for her latest and incredibly beautiful applique project.

I loved the details in all the flower baskets. Especially the fussy cutting!


What have you been working on?

Very excited to be hosting a NEW class here at Amitie.
Reuben The Donkey will be taught by Jodie Carleton, Miss Ric Rac herself on Saturday 23rd of July, 2011.

Jodie is a master with soft toys and this class will be jam packed with helpful hints (and probably the odd joke too)!
